DATES
The dates for 34th annual running of the Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000 are Saturday, April 6 to Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY
In keeping with the spirit of a vintage car rally, model year 1973 and older sports, racing, and grand touring cars are eligible. Cars newer than 1973 cannot be substituted for any reason, even after the rally begins.
Consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis for certain post-1973 vehicles that exhibit design and performance continuity with earlier models.
PLEASE NOTE: Clones, reproductions, tributes, continuation-series cars (except as noted above), and recreations are NOT eligible for participation on the Copperstate 1000.
We encourage you to apply with multiple vehicle to increase your chances of acceptance.
ENTRANCE FEE
The entrance fee for the 2024 Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 is $10,500.00.
THE APPLICATION
Applications are due on January 31, 2024 and must be filled out online. Notification of acceptance is mid February, 2024.
ROUTE
Welcome to the exhilarating Copperstate 1000! Our remarkable journey will commence by heading north from the vibrant city of Phoenix on day one, embarking on and awe-inspiring expedition through the captivating landscapes of eastern and southern Arizona.
As we set off venturing into the heart of Arizona’s diverse terrain, our course will guide us through the majestic wonders that await us in the northern region of the state. Picture yourself surrounded by breathtaking vistas, as we cross through sprawling valleys, traverse winding mountain passes, and marvel at the awe-inspiring beauty of the rugged terrain.
Continuing our odyssey, we’ll turn our compass towards the east, exploring the enchanting landscapes that lie in this direction. Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant colors of Arizona’s desert, as we wind through scenic roads, occasionally catching glimpses of picturesque canyons and mesas that dot the horizon.
In the latter part of our expedition, we’ll shift gears and head south, immersing ourselves in the soul-stirring charm of the southern Arizona landscape. Be prepared to be enchanted by the Sonoran Desert, known for its unique flora and fauna. The warm desert air will embrace us as we venture further into the heart of this arid wonderland, passing through quaint towns and experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Throughout our epic journey, you can expect to be treated to remarkable sights, unforgettable experiences and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts who share a passion for adventure and automotive marvels.

In order to preserve the integrity of the Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000, the Route Map for the 2024 rally will NOT be published. If you are accepted to participate, you will receive your Route Book at registration.
FAQS
Approximately 75 cars will be accepted. A waitlist will be established for entry submittals beyond that number.
The Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Copperstate 1000 is fortunate to have the involvement of many dedicated people and organizations, and in no area is that dedication more apparent than when mechanical assistance is needed. We travel with 4 professional mechanics and tow drivers with flatbeds. Our title sponsor, Bell Lexus North Scottsdale, generously donates new Lexus’ for use when your car just will not be able to finish the rally and our professional tow drivers with flatbed carriers are on-hand to assist with the transportation of not-so-willing cars.
Although we provide mechanical assistance on the road, a properly prepared vehicle is the responsibility of the driver. All accepted cars will be required to undergo a vehicle safety inspection prior to arrival. A certified mechanic is required to inspect your vehicle and sign-off that it is in rally ready condition.
No need to pack lightly. We travel with a U-Haul Luggage Truck (generously donated!) and 3 luggage handlers so all your luggage needs will be serviced. Drop your bags off in the morning and they will be waiting for you when you arrive.
